As part of the NFL and American Cancer Society’s “Crucial Catch: Intercept Cancer” campaign, the New York Jets and Atlantic Health System are stepping up their battle against cancer with a special emphasis on paediatric oncology. The Jets and Atlantic Health System will collect money for people who have been afflicted by cancer while also bringing comfort and raising awareness via a series of events.

The Crucial Catch Relaxation event was held at MetLife Stadium on Tuesday, September 27 and was sponsored by the Jets Women’s Organization, Atlantic Health System, and American Cancer Society. Yoga, painting, massages, and manicures were just a few of the stress-relieving and mindfulness-promoting activities that were offered to the more than 25 guests. Quinnen Williams and Solomon Thomas, two defensive players, unexpectedly extended an invitation to the group to see the Jets’ Crucial Catch game against the Miami Dolphins on Sunday, October 9.
In addition, Solomon Thomas and Quinnen Williams, who lost their mother to cancer, went to Goryeb Children’s Hospital on Tuesday, October 4, to invite kids who are receiving treatment or have finished it to the team’s Crucial Catch game and act as honorary captains. Each kid will get a personalised Jets jersey, a shopping spree at the Jets Shop, and tickets to the game in a suite with their family.
The honorary captains will be acknowledged on the video board before to start on October 9 at 1:00 p.m. The Goryeb Children’s Hospital will profit from the Jets 50/50 Raffle held during the game. Fans can purchase 50/50 raffle tickets on gamedays three hours before start through the third quarter. The jackpot will be divided between one fortunate fan and Goryeb Children’s Hospital.
